Donating Your Hair

If you would like to donate your hair, please read the guidelines that are listed below and then complete and submit the form found at the bottom of this page.

When you send your hair donation to us, please print your name on the outside of the sealed bag so that we can let you know that we received your donation.

Participating Salons

Your favorite local hair salon or stylist can cut your hair as long as the guidelines listed below are followed.  However, participating salons do offer discounts on a hair cuts when the hair is donated to Looks Like Me.  To see a list of participating salons, please click here. 
 

Hair Donation Guidelines

• Hair needs to be clean, dry and placed in a plastic bag.
• Hair must be put in a ponytail or loosely braided.
• Hair may be colored, but severely damaged hair cannot be used.
• Hair of all colors from men and women of all races, young or old, can be donated.
• In order to accommodate the needs of the children, hair needs to be 12 inches or longer.
